About tendto

Built in operations, not in an office

tendto is built where it is used: in the daily run of a surf house in Bali. Every feature started as a real problem at the front desk, at the bar or on the cleaning round.

The big hotel systems are made for houses with an IT department. Small houses with 5 to 25 rooms have a phone, a bar and a team from three countries instead. Those are the houses we build for.

That is why tendto counts cash before it thinks about payment gateways, writes WhatsApp instead of email journeys, and speaks seven languages so the cleaner can read the same plan as the manager.

Behind tendto stands Holger Lentz Consulting GmbH in Cologne, Germany. Development runs on short paths: what a house needs today is often shipped next week.

What we hold on to

Cash first. Tabs, daily close and cash shifts work without a payment gateway, without card readers, without a base fee to a third party.

WhatsApp first. Guests answer there, not in an inbox. The queue suggests, you tap send.

Thinking small. One price, everything included, cancel monthly. No plan ladder where your own house only fits into the most expensive tier.

The first house

Disini Surfhouse in Bali runs its operations on tendto: bookings, bar, housekeeping board, guest area. Whatever gets in the way there is fixed here before a second house ever sees it.
